Ladies Soccer

Rearcross FC will host FAI Soccer Sisters Programme commencing on Friday 22nd October from 6:00PM to 7:00PM and continuing for the following nine weeks from 6:00PM to 7:00PM on Friday evenings. Please click here for further detail regarding the Soccer Sisters Programme.

Pride of place goes to Rearcross native Vicky Reynolds who was part of an Ireland U-15 Ladies team that played a friendly against a Wexford U-18 selection on 30th June 2007 at Wexford Youths Grounds. The Irish selection under the stewardship of Noel King won the game 3-1 with Vicky Reynolds netting the 3rd goal for Ireland. Vicky's father Paul was a former stalwart with Rearcross FC and Vicky played at U-10 and U-12 level with Rearcross FC in the North Tipperary Schoolboys League and now plays with Limerick side Aisling Annacotty.

Rearcross has a proud tradition in ladies soccer dating back to the 1970's and 1980's with the most successful team operating in the late seventies when a Reacross F.C. side were crowned Tipperary Community Games County Champions in 1978 & 1979.
