Cloughjordan 'A' 1 - Rearcross 'A' 0

Rearcross 'A' ended their interest in the Premier Division Shield last Sunday in Cloughjordan with a one nil defeat by the homeside in a somewhat drab semi-final game. Rearcross struggled in the opening period and went one nil behind in the 30th minute when Alan Quinlan put Cloughjordan ahead through a corner kick. Rearcross tried to get back in to the game but were unable to breakdown a resilient Cloughjordan rearguard, best for Rearcross on the day were Sean Kennedy and Val Kennedy.
