Vee Rovers 2 - Rearcross 'A' 1

Rearcross 'A' bowed out of the FAI Junior Cup last Sunday on a 2-1 scoreline away to Vee Rovers, a depleted Rearcross squad went a goal down early in the first half when Paddy Murphy headed to the roof of the net from a corner kick. A better second half performance by the visitors saw PJ McLoughlin equalise when he finished to the net after good work by Emmet Steed on the left flank. Vee Rovers secured passage to the next round in the first period of extra time when Ronan O'Dwyer slotted home from close range.
