Nenagh 'A' 1 - Rearcross 'A' 0

A depleted Rearcross 'A' bowed out of the Premier Division Cup last Sunday morning against Nenagh 'A' on a one nil scoreline in Islandbawn. A determined first half performance saw Rearcross holding the home side scoreless with keeper Oliver Kennedy doing well after a goal mouth scramble early in the half. Rearcross were unlucky not to score in the second half after getting behind the Nenagh defence with Derek O'Toole forcing a good save from the Nenagh keeper. The only goal of the game was scored midway through the half, through a somewhat controversial penalty incident to give Nenagh a semi-final placing.
