Rearcross 'A' 2 - Arra Rovers 1

Rearcross 'A' recorded a 2-1 league victory against a determined Arra Rovers outfit in Bilboa last Sunday, Rearcross playing with wind advantage in the first half started brightly but failed to breakdown a stern Arra Rovers defence. Rearcross eventually took the lead in the 40th minute when an Arra Rovers defender knocked the ball to his own net after good pressure by the Rearcross forwards. Emmet Steed put Rearcross two nil up in the 65th minute when he broke on the left and found the target from close range. Rearcross allowed Arra Rovers back in to the game with ten minutes remaining when the visitors pulled a goal back with a strike from close range, however Rearcross 'A' held on to collect their first league win from their last four outings.
