Rearcross 'B' 3 - Streamstown 1

Rearcross 'B' advanced to the quarter finals of the Third Division Shield last Friday evening with a well merited 3-1 victory over Streamstown. Liam Hammersley put Rearcross ahead in the 15th minute when he scored from the penalty spot after John O'Doherty was upended in front of goal. Streamstown were back in the game in the 55th minute with an equaliser from the penalty spot. Liam Nolan(B) edged Rearcross ahead for the second time in the 76th minute with a well taken goal. Robert James Hammersley sealed victory in the 82nd minute when he finished to the net after a one on one with the Streamstown keeper.
