Rearcross 'A' 4 - Arra Rovers 0

Rearcross 'A' progressed to the semi-final of the Premier Shield last Sunday, with a four goals to nil victory over Arra Rovers in Bilboa. Rearcross were unlucky not to take the lead in the 17th minute when Emmet Steed's effort rebounded off the upright, the home side did take the lead in the 30th minute when Derek O'Toole was on hand to knock the ball to the net after good approach play by Brendan Deegan. Rearcross had to wait until the 80th minute for their second goal when Emmet Steed rounded the Arra keeper and slotted to the net. Emmet Steed completed his brace two minutes later with a well taken goal. Brian Sheehy made it four nil with a good individual goal with five minutes left on the clock.
