Rearcross 'B' 1 - Ballingarry 2

Rearcross 'B' were beaten 2-1 by Ballingarry last Sunday in the quarter final of the Divisional Shield in Bilboa after a determined performance by the home side. Ballingarry created the early chances and went ahead in the 24th minute as a result of a free kick. Trevor Delahunty was unlucky not to equalise for Rearcross in the 37th minute when his effort thumped of the crossbar. Rearcross came more in the game in the second half and were rewarded in the 60th minute when Sean Ryan hit the target and good play by Joey Nolan. Ballingarry claimed a semi-final placing in the 81st minute with a well worked finish from the edge of the box. Rearcross had good performances from Paul Murphy, Myles Devitt and Liam Nolan(B)
