Rearcross 'A' collected maximum points last Sunday with a well merited three nil victory over Cloughjordan 'A' in the Premier Division League. Rearcross 'A' made a good start and took the lead in the 12th minute when Micheal O'Doherty slotted home from inside the eighteen yard box, Rearcross enjoyed the better of the exchanges for the remainder of the half but were unable to add to the scoreline. Rearcross went two nil ahead in the 67th minute when Emmet Steed scored his ninth goal of the season with a left legged strike from in front of goal after good work by Noel Deegan on the left flank. Ger Kennedy increased the lead to three nil in the 89th minute with a finish from close range.
