Ballywilliam 0 - Rearcross 'A' 2

Rearcross A's recent good form in the league continued last Sunday with a well earned two nil victory over a determined Ballywilliam side. Brian Sheehy came close for Rearcross midway the first half when his effort from outside the box clipped the crossbar. The Ballywilliam keeper denied the visitors an opening goal in the 69th minute when he made a good save from an Emmet Steed spot kick. Rearcross went one nil ahead midway through the half when Emmet Steed fired home a fine goal after a good through ball from Sean Kennedy. Rearcross increased their advantage in the 73rd minute when Sean Kennedy broke on the left and finished to net on his second attempt after the Ballywilliam keeper had saved well from his initial shot.
