Rearcross 'B' 8 - Shinrone 'B' 1

Reacross 'B'recorded a comprehensive 8-1 league victory over Shinrone 'B' last Sunday morning in Rearcross, James Nolan scored the opener in the 5th minute with a cracking shot from thirty yards, Shinrone equalised with a well taken goal in the 7th minute, Liam Nolan edged Rearcross ahead in the 12th minute with a shot from the left flank. Matthew Ryan(L) clipped the crossbar in the 18th minute with a long range shot, and shot Rearcross in to a 3-1 lead in the 20th minute when he rifled to the back of the net from inside the eighteen yard box. From then on it was one way traffic with Liam O'Toole hitting the target in the 37th minute. Paul Murphy got his name on the scoresheet in the 44th minute with a splendid goal to leave Rearcross 5-1 in front at the half time whistle. James Nolan scored his second in the 48th minute with a well taken goal. Liam O'Toole made it 7-1 in the 55th minute with a strike from close range. Anthony Ryan denied the Offaly men in the 70th minute with a good reflex save. Pat Kennedy completed the scoring in the 82nd minute when he made no mistake from the penalty spot.
