Rearcross 'A' were beaten five nil by a talented Dungarvan team in a third round FAI Junior Cup fixture played in Rearcross last Sunday, Joe Nolan put his side ahead in the 14th minute when he headed to the back of the net from a corner kick. Oliver Kennedy denied Dungarvan in the 40th minute with a well saved penalty, however the resulting corner broke to Alan Landers who made no mistake with a shot from twelve yards. Michael Downey made it three nil in the 52nd minute with a nicely taken goal, John Power got a fourth for Dungarvan three minutes later, the woodwork denied Derek O'Toole a consolation goal in the 83rd minute, John Paul Donnelly rounded of the scoring in the 85th minute with a goal from the left flank.
