Rearcross 'A' were beaten two nil last Sunday by Arra Rovers in a league game played at the Portroe venue, the sides were scoreless at half time with few chances created in the first half. Arra Rovers opened the scoring early in the second half when Shane Kennedy got on the end of a free kick to head home from close range, Kenneth Kennedy gave the home side a two nil advantage midway through the half when he headed a good cross from the left flank to the back of the net. Rearcross played their best football in the final ten minutes, but were unable to breakthrough for the goal that may have given them a lifeline.
