Rearcross 'B' were beaten 2-1 by Sallypark in the Third Division League last Sunday morning, Sallypark edged ahead in the 12th minute when David Young scored a well taken goal, Joey Nolan pulled one back for Rearcross in the 22nd minute when his effort finished in the corner of the net. Sallypark went in front for the second time in the 34th minute with an opportunist goal after a goalmouth scramble. Rearcross were unlucky not to equalise three minutes later when the Sallypark keeper deflected Liam Nolan's shot off the crossbar. The Sallypark keeper denied Joey Nolan in the 43rd minute with an excellent stop. Rearcross battled bravely in the second half, however the Sallypark keeper was unbeatable with a string of saves that gave his side victory on the day.
