Rearcross 'B' claimed victory in the final of the Kilcommon tournament with a well earned two nil victory against a Kilcommon 'B' side last Monday week, Rearcross were on top in the early stages of the game and went ahead after twelve minutes when Joey Nolan blasted to the roof of the net after Paul Murphy's effort had rebounded off the crossbar, Rearcross were unlucky not to go two nil ahead midway through the half when a good passing movement released Declan O'Toole, however his well struck shot was just over the top. Joey Nolan sealed victory with ten minutes remaining when he scored his second with a converted penalty. Fr Dan Woods PP presented the tournament trophies to a delighted tournament panel after the game.
