Rearcross 'B' were on the wrong end of a 6-3 scoreline against Ballinahinch in a league game played in Rearcross last Sunday, Ballinahinch raced in to a two nil lead with strikes in the 17th and 27th minute, Joey Nolan pulled a goal back early in the second half when his volleyed effort went straight to the back of the net. Ballinahinch counteracted well and went 3-1 ahead in with a goal from close range. Rearcross reduced the deficit in the 64th minute when Paul Murphy scored with a well struck free kick from the edge of the eighteen yard box. Ballinahinch went 4-2 ahead in the 70th minute with a well struck effort from in front of goal. Joey Nolan gave Rearcross a lifeline in the 76th minute with a converted penalty, however Ballinahinch got two late insurance goals to clinch the victory.
