Rearcross 'B' 1 - Puckane 3

Rearcross B were beaten 3-1 by Puckane in the Tipperary Cup last Sunday. Puckane dominated the first half and were deservedly two nil ahead at the half time whistle. The first goal was headed home from a corner kick in the tenth minute and the second goal was drilled into the corner of the net front the edge of the eighteen yard box in the 35th minute. The second half was more evenly fought however Puckane increased their lead in the 60th minute when they converted from the penalty spot after a handball infringement. Rearcross rallied and grabbed a goal in the 80th minute when Paul Murphy scored from the edge of the box. Rearcross came close to the target in the dying minutes of the game but failed to add to their tally.
