Rearcross 'B' travelled to Ardcroney last Saturday evening to a play a league fixture and were victorious over the home side on a three goals to one scoreline. The sides were scoreless at the half time whistle in an opening half that saw Rearcross create their fair share of chances with Trevor Delahunty coming closest for Rearcross midway through the half when his effort struck the upright. Rearcross took the lead nine minutes into the second half when Davy Ryan Luke headed to the roof of the net from a corner kick. Nigel Ryan made it two nil on 20 minutes when he broke on the right flank and shot past the Ardcroney keeper from the edge of the eighteen yard box. Liam Ryan put Rearcross three nil in front with ten minutes remaining when he latched on to a corner kick and finished to the net from close range. Ardcroney 'B' scored a consolation goal in the 89th minute with a strike from the edge of the six yard box.
