Rearcross 'B' were at home to neighbouring side Kilcommon 'B' last Sunday morning and were on the wrong end of a 3-1 scoreline. Shane Ryan gave the Kilcommon the lead late in the first half with a well taken goal after Rearcross had been denied the opener when Paul Quigley was well positioned to save from James Nolan. Kilcommon were the better side in the second half and went two nil in front on 63 minutes when Shane Ryan was on target for the second time. Kilcommon put the game beyond the home side with nineteen minutes remaining when Davy Gilmartin made it three nil with a well worked goal. Rearcross grabbed a consolation goal with five minutes remaining when Shane Reynolds finished the ball to the net after a goalmouth scramble.
