Rearcross 'A' trekked to Islandbawn for this Munster Junior Cup tie against Nenagh Town 'A' and came out on the wrong end of a 2-1 scoreline, Rearcross took the lead in this game when John Ryan Luke converted from the penalty spot early in the game, Nenagh equalised two minutes later through a free kick that finished in the back of the net. Tommy Lynch scored the all important goal just before half time when poor defensive play handed the Nenagh side a place in the next round.
