Blackcastle 'B' 1 - Rearcross 'B' 2

Rearcross 'B' made the journey to Templemore last Friday for a Reserve Division League fixture against Blackcastle 'B' and came away with a hard earned win on a 2-1 scoreline, Blackcastle went ahead midway through the first half with a converted penalty, Liam Ryan came close for Rearcross early in the second half with a good effort, Rearcross equalised in the 70th minute when a well worked move out of the Rearcross defence saw Noel Deegan set up Brendan Deegan who in turn drilled to the corner of the net. Exchanges were balanced for the remainder of the game with chances falling to both sides, Derek Kennedy cleared off the line late in the game to deny the home side, Rearcross secured the points in injury time when a one two movement between Noel Deegan and Liam Ryan saw the latter shoot to the net from close range.
