Cloughjordan 'A' 3 - Rearcross 'A' 2

A depleted Rearcross 'A' outfit travelled to Cloughjordan for this league tie and were somewhat unlucky not to take something from the encounter, Rearcross took a two goal lead with successive strikes from Emmet Steed, Cloughjordan pulled a goal back just before half time. Rearcross got off to the worst possible start in the second half as the home side drew level three minutes in to the half with an effort from close range. Cloughjordan got what proved to be the winner with a volley that thundered to the roof of the net with twenty minutes remaining.
