Ballymackey 'A' 1 - Rearcross 'A' 2


Rearcross 'A' got back to winning ways with a hard earned 2-1 victory over Ballymackey in a league fixture played in Ballymackey last Sunday afternoon. Rearcross got off to the ideal start when Joey Nolan booted to the net in the 2nd minute when the ball broke inside the area after good work by Davy O'Toole on the wing. Ballymackey were back on par in the 30th minute when Rory Mounsey converted a spot kick awarded for a handball infringement. Rearcross restored the lead when Joey Nolan scored a well struck goal with five minutes remaining in the half. Rearcross struggled for spells of the second half and had to battle all the way to hold on for victory.
