Rearcross 'B' wound down their 2003/2004 season in Rearcross
last Sunday afternoon with a two all draw in a league fixture against Templetouhy
'B', the blustery conditions detracted somewhat from this game, however it
was the homeside who took the lead after three minutes when Nigel Ryan put
Eamon Devitt through who slotted past the Templetouhy keeper, Rearcross conceded
an equaliser on the half hour mark with poor marking at fault. Eamon Devitt
restored the lead for the home side just before the break when he drove to
the net after good work by Nigel Ryan. Exchanges were fair and even in the
second half with chances falling to both sides, Templetouhy got the breakthrough
with five minutes remaining when the ball was knocked to net on the second
attempt after Simon Kennedy had blocked out the initial shot.
