Rearcross 'B' took full points from this local derby fixture
against Kilcommon 'B' last Sunday morning on a one nil score line, Kilcommon
did the early running and came close in fifth minute with a well worked effort.
Rearcross went ahead on fifteen minutes when a long clearance from Myles Devitt
released Liam Ryan who converted with aplomb from in front of goal, the visitors
were dominant towards the end of the half and Davy Ryan Luke's longe range
effort wasn't far off the mark in the 38th minute. The second half was a tight
affair with both sets of defences in control, Thomas Kennedy threatened for
Rearcross with a left legged effort early in the half, Rearcross defended
in depth for the remainder of the game and secured a hard earned three points.
