Templetouhy 'B' were the visitors to Rearcross F.C. Grounds last Sunday for this Tipperary Cup second round game and left emply handed as it was the home side who emerged by the narrowest of margins, this was always going to be a tight encounter as had been the case with previous meetings thus far this season, chances were far and few between throughout the game with both sets of defences well on top, Rearcross grabbed the all important goal in the 20th minute when good interaction up front gave Eamon Devitt the opportunity to force the ball to the net to chalk up his sixth of the season, this was some consolation for the same player who minutes earlier was denied by a fine reflex save by the visiting custodian, Thomas Kennedy came close to increasing the lead minutes later, however the Templetouhy shot stopper was again equal to the effort and blocked to safety, Rearcross just about held on for a place in the next round, best for Rearcross were Liam Nolan(B), Thomas Kennedy, Anthony Ryan and Liam Ryan
