Rearcross 'B' 1 - Murroe 3

Rearcross 'B' came up against Murroe in this Quarter Final fixture of the Ann Kennedy Cup and played second fiddle to a strong Murroe combination. Murroe took an early lead with a close range effort from Pat Kenny, Rearcross had their chances to equalise but remained in arrears at the half way stage. Rearcross did however get back on par early in the second half with a fine individual effort from James Gough, Rearcross looked as if they were going to hold on for a penalty shoot out, however Murroe struck with two late strikes from Pat Kenny and Thomas Cummins to seal a semi-final placing.
