Rearcross 'B' 4 - Boher 3

Rearcross 'B' turned in a fine performance to topple league leaders Boher on a 4-3 score line in this First Division league game played in Rearcross last Sunday afternoon. Colin O'Doherty gave Rearcross the ideal start two minutes in with a well taken goal, Colin O'Doherty made it two nil on the fifteen minute mark with an opportunist goal. Rearcross were flying at this stage and went three nil ahead in the 24th minute when Thomas Kennedy converted from the penalty spot after Simon Kennedy was upended in the box. Rearcross took the foot of the pedal and were duly punished when the visitors reduced the deficit to a minimum after Ricky Mowat pounced for two goals. The sides were all square three minutes after the restart when Ricky Mowat rounded off his hat trick from the penalty spot, the game was on a knife edge after this, however it was Rearcross who claimed victory in the 76th minute with John Ryan Luke was the provider to Colin O'Doherty who headed home to give a well earned win to the home side, best for Rearcross were James Gough, Derek Kennedy and Colin O'Doherty
