Thurles Town 3 - Rearcross 'B' 0

Rearcross 'B' made a fruitless trip to Thurles Greyhound Stadium last Sunday losing out in the end on a score line of three goals to nil, James O'Grady put Thurles ahead on the fifteen minute mark with a well taken goal, Tom Brophy made it two nil just before the break, Rearcross upped their performance in the second half but were unable to get through a resilient Thurles rearguard, the town side were also dangerous on the break and Rearcross keeper Jim Caplis had to be at his best to keep the score line intact, however there was little the Rearcross custodian could do when Robert Jordan made it three nil from the penalty spot late in the game to seal the points for Thurles Town.
