Rearcross Youths 0 - Nenagh Celtic 5

Rearcross Youths were at home to Nenagh Celtic on Saturday afternoon in this Youths League fixture and fell to the Nengh side on a five nil score line, Rearcross made a promising start, however it was the visitors who went ahead against the run of play in the 10th minute when Mark Flannery got behind the Rearcross rearguard before tapping home from close range. Rearcross regrouped after this and despite the incessant rain created more than their fair share of chances with Michael O'Gorman, Thomas Grace, Paul Hogan and James Gough all coming close. Nenagh Celtic were two nil up seconds in to the second half when Shane Quigley's long range effort finished in the net, Rearcross had it all to do after this and went further in arrears in the 52nd minute when Michael Heffernan got in for an opportunist goal, Rearcross battled to get back in to the game, however the Nenagh side ran out comfortable winners in the end with Michael Heffernan grabbing two more to round off his hat-trick, best for Rearcross on the day were Damien Nolan, Seamus Feehan, Tom Hickey and Thomas Grace,
