Rearcross 'B' 2 - Cormacstown 'A' 4

Rearcross 'B' missing a number of regulars bowed out of the Tipperary Cup last Sunday against Premier Division side Cormacstown 'A', Rearcross made a blistering start and went two nil up with strikes from Thomas Kennedy and Paul Murphy. Cormacstown turned on the heat in the second half and Rearcross were forced to defend in numbers, however Cormacstown eventually got the breakthrough with twenty minutes remaining and scored two quick fire goals to level the tie. The game looked to be heading for a extra time, however the visitors pounced for a brace of goals in a two minute spell to ensure a place in the next round.
