Rearcross 'B' 1 - Ballingarry 3

Fresh from a good performance in the Tipperary Cup, Rearcross 'B' took on league contenders Ballingarry at Rearcross FC Grounds last Sunday, Rearcross were quick to get in to the game and went ahead when Dean Lenihan hit the target, Rearcross held their advantage until early in the second half when Ballingarry were awarded a somewhat dubious penalty which was converted with aplomb. Rearcross came back at the visitors and Colin O'Doherty shot narrowly wide minutes later. Rearcross were unlucky to concede a second from the resulting kick out, Rearcross battled hard to get back in to the game, however it was Ballingarry who secured the points with five minutes remaining following a spectacular effort to thwart a determined performance from a Rearcross side that deserved more on the day.
