Kilcommon 'A' 2 - Rearcross 'B' 1

An understrength team made the short journey to neighbouring Club for this end of season league game and were unlucky not to come away with something from the encounter, Rearcross fielding a youthful team made an attacking start and went a head when Joey Nolan's pile driver from a free kick went straight to the net, Rearcross continued to push forward, however it was Kilcommon who equalised just before the break when Ger O'Toole finished neatly to the net after latching on to a clever pass. Rearcross made a strong start to the second half and had claims for a penalty turned down after Greg Kennedy appeared to have be fouled in the box. The game was in the melting pot to the end, however it was Kilcommon who shaded the issue when Pat Hickey grabbed a winner late in to the game.
