Rearcross 'A' 1 - Kilcommon 0

Rearcross 'A' and Kilcommon clashed in this Tournament semi-final in Rearcross on Friday evening, Kilcommon were quick off the mark and a Tommy Burke effort was just wide of the post after three minutes of play. Jamie O'Toole was next up with a first time effort that was held by the Rearcross keeper. The hosts came back at Kilcommon and a PJ McLoughlin header was saved by Eamon Ryan who went on to turn in a man of the match performance for the visitors. A Sean Mullins pile driver and well saved by Eamon Ryan on the 20 minute mark. Kilcommon made a strong finish to the half and PJ McLoughlin put in a fine tackle to deny Brian Carr just before the break. Kilcommon were denyed the lead minutes after the restart when Jamie O'Toole's effort hit the post. Paul Murphy grabbed the lead for Rearcross nine minutes in to the half. Rearcross had more than their fair share of chances after this however Eamon Ryan was in top form and then Kilcommon were unlucky not to draw level when Tom Keane's header was inches wide of the upright with two minutes remaining.
