Blackcastle 'A' 1 - Rearcross 'A' 1
Rearcross 'A' travelled to Templemore for a tough assignment against Premier Division contenders Blackcastle 'A' and secured an away point against the odds. The visitors went in to this game having conceded ten goals against Blackcastle in two previous outings this season to date, however Rearcross made a lively start despite this backdrop and went ahead with a twenty five yard effort from Diarmuid Sheehy midway through the half. The home side also created chances in the opening half, however Rearcross defended stoutly with Martin McLoughlin very much to the fore. Blackcastle played with zest in the second half and it was to take an outstanding display of goalkeeping from Sean Sheehy to quell the Templemore side. Stefan Leahy did manage to net an equaliser for Blackcastle to ensure the spoils were divided at the end of ninty minutes.
