Templetuohy 2 - Rearcross 'B' 0

Rearcross 'B' travelled to Killoran Park for this Second Division League fixture against Templetuohy and came home empty handed after losing on a two nil score line. The opening half was evening contested with chances falling to both sides, Paul Murphy came closest for Rearcross with two free kick efforts that were dealt with by the Templetuohy net minder. The home side also threatened during the opening period, however the teams were still scoreless at the break. Andy Murphy was unlucky for Rearcross early in the second half, however the Killoran side broke the deadlock with twenty minutes remaining when Damien Bergin got in to edge Templetuohy ahead with a fortuitous goal. Niall Russell made sure of the points in the 87th minute with an opportunist finish.
