Rearcross 'B' 1 - Nenagh Celtic 'B' 3

League leaders Nenagh Celtic ‘B’ were the visitors to Rearcross ‘B’ for this league fixture and came from behind to take the points on a 3-1 score line. The first chance of the game fell to the homse side as Thomas Kennedy's long range effort thumped off the crossbar, unfortunately Thomas Kennedy was forced to retire injured seconds later. Rearcross were one up at the break thanks to a headed finish from Sean Hickey following a Liam Nolan(B) delivery. Rearcross keeper Jim Caplis was also the fore with a fine save on the stroke of half time.

Rearcross were denied again by the woodwork in the second half when Paul Murphy's free kick effort hit the outside of the post. Nenagh Celtic levelled with a John Carmody deflected finish midway through the half. Rearcross were left reeling when the visitors went ahead three minutes later courtesy of an Alan Kevin finish. The game was put beyond the reach of Rearcross in the 85th minute when Alan Kevin added his second of the outing to copper fasten the win Nenagh Celtic.
