Rearcross 'B' 2 - Gurtagarry 2
Rearcross 'B' and Gurtagarry played out a two all draw in Rearcross on Sunday morning. The home side hit the front midway through the opening half when Anthony Ryan's free kick went all the way to the net. Rearcross were denied a second when Darren Quigley's long range effort was tipped around the post. The sides went in level at the break after Billy Corcoran levelled from the spot on the stroke of half time. Rearcross were on top at the start of the second half and restored their advantage after James Deegan hit the target on 67 minutes, however Gurtagarry upped the ante and grabbed an equalizer through Dinny Corcoran. Rearcros could have added to their tally with good efforts from Joey Nolan and James Deegan, but Paul Ryan saved the day for the green and whites after clearing off the line in the final minute to leave it all square at the full time whistle.
