Rearcross entertained Ardroney in a league encounter on Sunday last in Rearcross in what turned out to be a very tame affair. Chances were at a premium in this very tight affair with Rearcross having the majority of possession in the first half but failing to create any clear cut chances. The second half was more of the same with Rearcross bossing the possession stakes. Rearcross's best chance of the game with 20 minutes left when Mark Hogan picked up the ball inside the Ardcroney half and send a rocket of a shot which looked like it was destined for the top corner only for the Ardcroney Keeper to get a hand to it and send it to safety. Although it is another point picked up for Rearcross, it can also be viewed as 2 points dropped in a season where every point is crucial.
