Rearcross FC hosted our 15th Annual FAI Summer School from the 17th August to 21st August.

The Club's 13th Mainstream FAI Summer School took place from the 19th to the 23rd August in much more favourable weather conditions compared to last year. Rearcross FC Summer School 2012
Our 12th FAI Summer School came to a conclusion on Friday 24th August in what was an enjoyable and worthwhile event despite the inclement weather conditions throughout the week. Thanks to James Scott and his coaches for their help and professionalism during the week. We welcomed participants from far & near again this year including Ryan Moser from Dubai and the Knicker family from Boston in addition to Rearcross FC members and neighbouring participants from surrounding areas. Thanks to Siobhan Sheehy, Mary Rochford, Lisa Lenihan, Noreen O'Toole, Breda Nolan, Noreen Kennedy, Declan O'Toole and Fiona Kennedy for their help with supervision duties during the week. Finally, thanks to all 88 participants for making the summer school a success and we look forward to seeing you back again next year.

Rearcross FC Summer School 2011
Our 11th FAI Summer School came to a conclusion on Friday 19th August with a total of 71 participants enrolled for this year's school which has seen the Club break the 1,000 figure in terms of the number of participants who have attended the Summer School in Rearcross over the eleven year period. Our Summer School continues to have an International element as we welcomed four members of the Knicker family from Boston for this year's event. Our thanks once again to James Scott(North Tipperary Football Development Officer), Cian Healy (Head Coach) and coaches Vicky Reynolds, Aisling Healy, James Deegan, Eolan McCarthy and Gearoid Sheehy for their cooperation during the week. Thanks to Noreen Kennedy and Fiona Kennedy who spring cleaned the Clubhouse in advance of the Summer School, a special word of thanks to Mary Rochford, Noreen Kennedy, Fiona Kennedy, Karen Deegan Thomas Kennedy and Noel Deegan who assisted with supervision duties during the week, finally our thanks to all participants for making the week a success and we look forward to having you back again next year!!

The 2010 Summer School took place from Monday 23rd August to Friday 27th August. Despite an ominous climatic start on Monday morning, the rain lifted shortly afterwards and an enjoyable week was had by all. Our sixth annual Summer School concluded last Friday evening,
a total of 86 participants had a most enjoyable week with the highlight being
the visit of Packier Bonner last Thursday who spoke words of wisdom to the up

FC Grounds in what was a momentous occasion for the Club.

Rearcross F.C. Summer School 2004
Rearcross
F.C. 2004 Summer School closed at 3-30PM on Friday 20th August, a enjoyable and
beneficial week was reported by participants despite some rainfall during the
week, thanks to all 143 participants for their attendance and good behaviour during
the week, each particpant was presented with an official FAI Certificiate of Participation
and an FAI / Pepsi Soccer Superskills DVD on Friday evening, in addition to a
playing kit, branded football and Pepis water bottle received earlier in the week.
Thanks
to parents and committee members for their help with supervision duties during
the week, in particular thanks to Donna Hogan, Brid Nolan & Pat Deegan who
attended throughout the week. Thanks to Trevor Lovell, Pat Halpin and their team
of coaches for their co-operation and professionalism throughout the week.

reminded that under no circumstances can participants leave Rearcross F.C. Grounds
between 10-30AM and 3-30PM, any offending participants will be expelled from the

one hundred and one particpants taking part, fingers crossed that the good weather
continues, thanks to parents and committee members for their help with the summer
school.

Summer
School commences next Monday 19th August at 10-30AM, registration will take place
between 9-45AM and 10-30AM,
all outstanding monies to be paid before 10-30AM. The school is fully sold out
and unfortunately we cannot accomadate any extra participants as there is a limited
supply of the special edition FAI football kits. All participants are reminded
that they cannot leave the camp for the duration of the day, any infringement
of this rule or any rules as stipulated by the coaches will result in the offending
participant(s) being expelled from the school.

The Club hosted an
FAI Summer Soccer School at our grounds in Rearcross from 20th to 24th August
2001, a total of 83 participants took part in what proved to be a very enjoyable
and beneficial week.
The highlight of
the week was the visit of Republic of Ireland Youth Manager Brian Kerr, who spent
over four hours at the summer school on 21st August. The head coach for the week
was local FAI Regional Development Officer Trevor Lovell who was ably assisted
by coaches Darren Murray, Pat Halpin, Pauline O'Callaghan, Paddy Walsh and Brian
Doran.
Our thanks to the parents for their attendance during the summer school
week, also our thanks to Donna Hogan for her help in taking names and collecting
monies for the Summer School.
Thanks to Breda Kennedy who provided lunch for
Brian Kerr and finally thanks to Brian Kerr for taking the time to visit Rearcross
F.C.The overall player

An underage tournament took place on 25/08/01 for all participants of the
summer school, James Gough's team emerged victorious in the U-11 final on a 2-1
scoreline, the U-16 section was won by Michael O'Brien's team. The
Club would like to thank the Quigley family Rearcross for sponsoring a Cup for
the U-16 Tournament which was presented to Michael O'Brien by Bernie Quigley.
