Killavilla 'B' 0 - Rearcross U-15's 2
Rearcross U-15's made it back to back wins with a two nil away win over Killavilla at the Roscrea venue on Tuesday evening. The Rea boys got off to a great start when Patrick Dawson lobbed the keeper. The woodwork denied Brian Nolan five minutes later after the ball hit the post. The Slieve Felim side were losing their way at this stage and it took two well timed tackles from Danny Poyzer to thwart the home side. Killavilla playing with a strong wind in the second half came close early on but the crossbar came to the rescue for the Rea boys. Rearcross got back on top and threatened with chances from Oran Connors, Patrick Dawson and Cian O'Toole in a five minute spell. The Roscrea side were still in the game and were denied again by the crossbar on 62 minutes. Rearcross doubled their tally with 23 minutes remaining when Stephen Rochford got the ball on the wing and beat his marker to finish a fine effort to the far corner to leave no way back for Killavilla on this occasion. Best for Rearcross were Dylan Ryan, Danny Poyzer and Paul Nolan while the hosts had a great performance from their keeper who made some fine saves, Rearcross will be happy with the win after not playing to their potential, but will face tougher tests ahead.
