Rearcross U-14's 7 - Nenagh 'B' 0

Rearcross U-14's kicked off their new season with a handsome league victory over an under strength Nenagh Town 'B' in Bilboa last Saturday. A blistering start saw Rearcross score twice in as many minutes, Paddy Wade opened the scoring after thirty seconds with a finish from outside the six yard box, Danny O'Brien gave Rearcross a two nil lead a minute later when he slotted past the Nenagh custodian from twelve yards. Michael O'Gorman made it three nil on 20 minutes when he dodged the Nenagh defence and coolly stroked the ball home despite the best efforts of the visitor's keeper. Jamie Ryan pushed forward three minutes later and was clinical with his finish from close range. Paddy Wade grabbed his second in the 28th minute with a nicely taken goal. James Gough got on the score sheet in the 63rd minute after a well worked move in the middle of the field. Damien Nolan hit the target on 69 minutes to copper fasten the victory for the home side. The central defence pairing of Jamie Ryan and Paul Hogan were dominant throughout for Rearcross.
