Rearcross U-16's travelled to Templemore last Saturday for a league game and were unlucky not to get a share of the spoils from the encounter. Rearcross dominated in the first half and were denied by the Templemore keeper twice midway through the half, with good saves from John Berkery and John Foley. Rearcross were again denied the lead just before half time when Eamon Devitt got on the end of an Enda Clifford corner, however his effort was narrowly over the crossbar. Templemore came in to the game in the second half, but good defending and good goalkeeping kept the homeside at bay. Disaster stuck with two minutes remaining when Templemore secured the points with a goal from a free kick. Rearcross had good performances from Tommy Ryan Luke, John Foley and Eamon Devitt.
