Clodiagh Rangers 3 - Rearcross U-16's 0

Rearcross U-16's suffered a three nil defeat to Clodiagh Rangers last Saturday in a league game played at the Drombane venue, both teams had their fair share of possession in the opening half, however the sides remained deadlocked at the half way stage. Rearcross fell apart in the second half as the home side hit the target with a hat trick of goals, the first coming early in the half with a finish from the penalty spot. Clodiagh made it two nil with ten minutes remaining after slack defending and sealed the issue in stoppage time with a well taken goal. Best for Rearcross were Declan Hickey, Larry McLoughlin and Evan McMahon.
