Rearcross U-12's beat Nenagh 'B' four nil in a one sided game played in Rearcross last Saturday morning. Rearcross did the early running with James Gough and Cormac Nolan coming close in the opening 10 minutes. Jim Caplis had to be at his best when he saved well on 12 minutes. Damien Nolan gave Rearcross the lead in the 15th minute with a great strike from outside the box. Rearcross pushed hard for a second before half time with Danny O' Brien and Michael O' Gorman to the forefront. Rearcross came out with all guns blazing in the second half and were rewarded after 5 minutes when Damien Nolan buried his second goal with a shot from in front of goals. Rearcross continued to dominate and went three nil ahead with twelve minutes remaining when Danny O'Brien slotted home from close range after trojan work by Cormac Nolan. Nenagh nearly pulled a goal back with four minutes remaining when Arron O'Reilly broke through the centre, however his well stuck shot swung left of the upright. Rearcross went four nil ahead with two minutes left to play when substitute Raymond Williams dispatched Damien Nolan's cross to the back of the net.
