Arra Rovers 3 - Rearcross U-14's 0

Rearcross U-14's lost three nil to Arra Rovers last Saturday in a league fixture played at the Portroe venue. Rearcrosss were unlucky not to take the lead early on when Paddy Wade came close after great work by James Gough. Arra came in to the game as the half progressed and took the lead midway through the half with a well executed goal.The concession of a second goal at the beginning of the second half left the visitors with an uphill battle. Rearcross attacked in search of a much needed goal, however Arra broke on a counter attack and finished to the net in the 59th minute to seal the victory. Rearcross were denied a consolation goal with five minutes left on the clock when a penalty strike was off target Best for Rearcross were Paul Hogan, Jamie Ryan and Damien Nolan.
