Rearcross U-16's travelled to Nenagh last Saturday for a league match against Nenagh Celtic and had to reduce a two goal deficit to earn a share of the spoils, the home side took the lead in the 28th minute with a shot from outside the box, Rearcross also had their chances in the first half with strikes from Liam Ryan and John Foley not far off the target towards the end of the half. Nenagh edged two nil ahead ten minutes in to the second half with a nicely taken goal, a late rally by Rearcross saw Liam Ryan convert from the penalty spot in the 70th minute after Davy O'Toole was fouled in the box, then with four minutes left on the clock Enda Clifford played a through ball to Liam Ryan who slotted past the Nenagh keeper to give a deserved draw to Rearcross.
