Rearcross U-12's 0 - Kinniry Rovers 3

Rearcross U-12's were at home in their final league game of the season last Saturday to Kinnity Rovers and were on the receiving end of a three nil defeat. Jim Caplis had to be at his best in the 10th minute when he denied the opposition with a fine save. Danny O'Brien came close for Rearcross in the 21st minute, however his effort was cleared off the line. Kinnity went ahead four minutes later with an opportunist goal. Kinnity edged further ahead ten minutes in to the second half with a well taken goal. Rearcross were unlucky midway through the half when Cormc Nolan broke through and fired a shot on target, however the Kinnity goalie was well positioned to avert the danger. Kinnity put the game beyond the home side in the 52nd minute with what proved to be the final goal of the game.
