Rearcross U-16's collected maximum league points last Saturday in Rearcross with a comprehensive 5-1 victory over Nenagh Town, Rearcross dominated the game from the start and were one up in the tenth minute when Enda Clifford netted after good work by John Berkery. The home side went two nil ahead in the 25th minute with a great finish from John Foley. Nenagh got into their stride early in the second half and got one back in the 15th minute with a well taken goal. Nenagh's comeback was short lived as Enda Clifford pounced in the 16th minute to restore the two goal advantage. Rearcross were now in total command and Enda Clifford capped a fine individual display by completing his hat-trick in the 65th minute with a well struck goal. Rearcross were awarded a penalty with five minutes left on the stopwatch after Larry McLoughlin was felled in the area, with keeper Simon Kennedy powering home the resulting penalty to seal the points for Rearcross.
