Rearcross 'B' Player of the Year 2009 / 2010

Although the 2009/2010 season was somewhat curtailed for Rearcross ‘B’, Eamon
is nevertheless a more than worthy recipient of the Rearcross ‘B’ team Player of the
Year Award. Eamon was ever present during the campaign turning in committed and
solid defensive performances for the green & whites and missing only one training
session during the campaign. Eamon gives 100% when wearing the Rearcross colours
and plays the game with an enjoyable and positive approach, the Shanballyedmond
native is also not shy when it comes to putting in decisive tackles. Never a man to be
heard mouthing on the field, Eamon shows great example to younger players coming
through the ranks. Eamon also leads from the front in terms of the off field activities
including lotto ticket selling and assisting the Club whenever required. Well done to
Eamon on an all round performance during the season, a fitting recipient of the
‘B’ Team Player of the Year accolade for the 2009/2010 season.
